Think of it, though... drafting a high-profile Minnesota kid over some higher profile QBs (Lawrence and Fields) would be the most Minnesota thing ever, and in this unique case I would absolutely love it.

It would also be the most Minnesota thing ever for them not to send a scout 3 hours up the road to watch a potential franchise-changing talent all because of their butthurt sports psychological issues. Sigh...

Honestly, between Lance and Radunz, is there any NFL team that can make the argument that sending a scout is not necessary? Any team set at QB could always still use line help. I think UCA also has a decent cornerback prospect as well.

I would love for Darrius Shepherd to play well and have a great career with the Packers(or any NFL but the Packers are the only team to give Shep a shot so far). However, last year's game against Detroit he was not good at all. He fumbled a punt and lost 9 yards and yes the ball was thrown behind him but the ball hit him in the facemask and then was picked off at the goal line. That was one of only 4 picks that Rodgers had all year. Rodgers is still one of the most accurate passers in the game and if he gets on the same page with Shep I bet he will get passes thrown his way.
