I don’t think the fact that he wasn’t even an UDFA has anything to do with how teams are looking at him now. He has 3 very good preseason games under his belt and will judge him according. The fact he was a camp tryout or UDFA has zero play to other teams. The only team that will look at that is GB and may consider him as steal.

I'm saying the fact that he was a tryout player means that other teams weren't interested after the draft. Does tape in 4 preseason games change the opinions of any those other teams who didn't think he was worthy of a free agent look after the draft? I'd say that's a stretch. Beyond that teams will wonder why Green Bay, who are the only ones who saw him in practice every day during camp, kept 7 WRs other than him if he's supposedly good enough for their own active roster. If he's going to end up on a 53 man roster come roster cuts this weekend I'd guess it'll be with Green Bay or nobody.

But from Green Bay's practice squad he can be signed by any NFL team should injuries happen so his story is far from over even if he gets cut and he's earned every bit of that.

He caught his only target, which was a poor throw. It was a nice catch, but the outcome would have probably been better if it was an incompletion. He fumbled his last kick return. Ball security was supposed to be his leg up on Trevor Davis.

Darius seems like a good practice squad guy, to be called upon if Trevor Davis gets hurt (again).

That would be impressive from where he started as a tryout player.
