The fire in that guy's belly is unreal. And so stoic on the outside.

Shep signing with the Broncos. Real opportunity there with Patrick out for the year!

#Broncos sign WR Darrius Shepherd, source confirms to #Denver7. Played with #Packers in 2019-20 when Hackett was there. Caught 5 passes. Former North Dakota State standout also had stint in USFL. Adds depth to WR room following Patrick injury. @BKDenverSports
    had first.

Billy, Zack Johnson, and now Darrius. Broncos appear to be stocking on winners...

Really hope he sticks as a reliable rout runner. Realistic upside for him is probably a slot WR and a WR3 or WR4, right?

Good place for Shep and with a former Coach. Really hope he can stick on the roster. The NFL recently (Covid years) changed the practice squad rules so now they allow 16 instead of 10(?) and I think they also allow more "veterans" instead of guys with minimal active game experience. Which is great because I think he wouldn't qualify for the old practice squad rules with his 2 partial seasons active on GB.

I hope he makes the regular roster somehow. but he turns 27 in less than 3 months.. I can beleive any team is going to cut a 22 yr old from the practice squad for a 27 year old
