    It can be when you are trying to claim the special teams role from another guy who is known for fumbling the ball. Shep needed to play perfect, and he did not. That can be a killer for a UDFA. I am confident that he has earned a practice squad nod though. The 53 man roster would be deserving, but the Packers now have some justification for leaving him off.

    According to a few sources, GB has made a first round of cuts that included 2 WR's not named Darius Sheperd.

    They need to go from 90 to 53 so 37 guys and last I checked they cut 9. He’s got a ways to go but I have no idea how many wrs are left or how many they’ll keep.

    Oh. For some reason, I thought that teams culled off their flock little by little all preseason and that many/most of the cuts would have happened already.

    That changed a couple years back(2017?). Now they only cut the once.
