I was able to sync 1660 perfectly with the TV broadcast and it was great. I like Brian Shawn. He does a great job but I have no idea why NDSU puts up with Timmerman. I don't need a rah rah guy but for God's sake, that guy goes out of his way to underscore what NDSU is doing. The media group at NDSU should really look at what he is doing and evaluate if he is needed or if we can do better.

Timmerman always assumes the refs call is the right call and goes out of his way to justify the call when clearly it could of went either way or it's leaning toward the opposite call. I wish Brian Shawn would speak up more in those situations and point out what he sees on the replay...it's ok to point out the mistakes if you see it differently because that is how everyone at home sees it while screaming at their tvs...Don't insult the intelligence of us viewers........but who knows, maybe they're watching the replays on a 4 inch screen.

I understand the criticism... but the reality is that KVLY does not do a bad job... go on to ESPN3 and see some of the horrendous coverage by other FCS and G5 Schools... KVLY is significantly better than most of them.

Could they improve? Yes... but, every year they seem to be improving, and I am OK with that.

I think the production is solid. My big pet peeve is down and distance or a first down line? Why does it seem like the down and distance is never on the screen
