From what I've seen of the defense the last few games there's no way UNI can keep it that close unless they find a quarterback between now and then.

I was following the UNI vs Redbirds game today. UNI Defense took awhile to get their act together and when they came around they held Redbirds scoreless during the 2nd half. UNI defense is nasty, they were trying to strip the ball, holding, hand on face mask and also hitting the QB hard. They dont have a solid game plan but they played very opportunistic football. UNI punter is pretty darn good, he was consistently kicking near the end zone and Redbirds were starting from very deep from their end zone. It looks like UNI does not have a good QB but boy they are opportunistic and nasty. In the end Redbirds won because they played a solid pass defense, led by none other than Alec Kocour. If our O Line dont hold the line against UNI defense, Carson Wentz will be taking lot of pain killer pills after the game.
" Our strategy for winning against BISON was simple, we put our WRs and RBs in a 1 on 1 situation with their defense in the backfield.....everybody knows they have some freshman who cannot tackle in a 1 on 1 situation.....Joe Glen"

Pretty fair but you missed one thing. Roberson had a broken hand and never ran the ball. He killed UNI last year extending plays. The Fr QB for the Redbirds also in not a runner. Carson will gash their defense with his feet if the protection breaks down.

The Bison can pass on this defense.

Roberson came in on few plays, Redbirds used 2QBs, and most of plays Roberson was under center he ran. Roberson also played as a WR. During the 2nd half UNI defense caused all kinds of problems, they forced a fumble, stripped the ball from Rebdbird offense, picked a pass near the endzone and attempted a furious comeback.

Next Saturday I like to see Andrew Bonnet or Chase as our starting RB during the the first half. These two are good meat tenderizer. During the 2nd half King and Lance Dunn can kill the UNI Defense with their speed.

The UNI offense is awful (not GFCC bad, but bad). Their defense will have to carry them this year. If NDSU doesn't turn the ball over, the Bison win by 14+.

UNI has a qb that is fast. Make him beat us with his arm and we should win.
