Anybody see the ending of Illinois-Nebraska? Nebraska had ball 3rd and 7 with about 59 seconds or so, 0 timeouts for Illinois and they passed it. Incomplete. Passed it again on 4th. Turn over on downs. Illinois goes down and scores to win lol

No, they won't say that because we are not playing them.

Anyone catch the fiasco in the Illinois/Nebraska Game?

Apparently there was confusion over what down/weather there was a first down. Essentially instead of a 5th down, essentially Illinois lost the ball in 3 downs.

Wow---ALL of the refs screwed up.

Yea...the lack of communication is crazy. And its not like they were being rushed. I would put a large part of it on the H as the chains are right there, but everyone has to know what down it is and distance. I could see jacking it up for 1 or 2 plays but 3 and then taking the ball away is crazy.

I would take Wentz, Stick and Davis over any QB on the Gophers roster. I don't think it's just that they recruit bad QB's though. I don't think their coaches have a clue how to develop QB's. Kill should get rid of his staff on that side of the ball, hire an offense guru and get out of his way
