    Lived in Brookings for seven years. My kids went to school in the public school system. It's top-flight. Some really nice neighborhoods around town. Good place to raise a family...imo.

    Never really liked the "At least we don't live in xxxx." I find it rude. People live in places for a reason. It might not be your cup of tea but it is someone else's home.
