There is very little wrong with NDSU on offense and defense. The defense is worlds better with CJ Smith playing. The real problem is there are to many arm chair coaches that think they could do better. It's kind of hilarious reading some of the criticism of a staff that is 17-2.
    NDSU rolls in this one.

Let's not get crazy. Zenner only carried the ball 7 times as a freshman. (34 yds.) Last year in 2 games , 48-236 yds.

    I forget did a zenner equal 4 or 0-6?

With the exception of where Wentz was injured against Montana, nobody has been able to consistently stop the NDSU Offense. I say they continue to improve much like their teammates on defense and win 44-16. This a statement game for them and I believe they will deliver in a big way as we head into Homecoming Week.

Speaking of Wentz's injury, I hope someone makes sure there isn't repeat situation of last year's scenario where he hurt his ankle against the Jackrabbits and had to play through the injury the following week against the Panthers.

In regards to the offensive scheme, I too prefer the power game, however, I have a feeling the read-option is going to be a part of the game for awhile. For one, it helps keep the offense being too predictable and having opposing defense stacking the box. The teams in the MVFC would be stupid if they weren't building their defenses to focus on stopping NDSU's power run - it's part of the game's evolution. Secondly, I'm guessing Easton Stick will also fit well into this offensive scheme with his throwing and running abilities. Therefore, lets hope they are just as good at a read-option scheme as they have been with the power-run scheme. So far, it has looked good. And of course, the most important thing to make all this work on offense is a kick-butt defense, which is also looking better every week.

Think positive and don't over-worry about the possibility of losing. Remember, we're Bison!
    Hail the BISON!!!

It's even more hilarious when some on bisonville defend coaching decisions that lose games.

There's nothing more amusing than comprehending that good decisions can still lead to bad results.

Check the ticket exchange. Couple sets of 4 for sale. I'm sure they'd sell a pair to you.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.
