Watching his hudl video, he looks similar to Wieneke's high school videos...Wieneke looks slightly faster with a little more meat on the bones, but like Wieneke, Engel runs good routes and catches everything, the skills that are hard to teach...this bodes well for us, Engel is going to be a good one.
Glad to see they see it as worthwhile to show highlights of his blocking abilities as a wide receiver.
Are you kidding me? Weineke is listed at 6-4. Are those 2 finger widths really enough to change whether you consider a guy "big" or not? Good grief. Illies plays big, that is what counts.

This is what I saw too. I think a year of red shirting would be good to get acclimated with the speed and toughness of D1 football. You can't teach that size though and it looks like he has very good hands. He will create a lot of mismatches, that's for sure!
