Why does the MVFC need to expand more?

While I like Cal Poly and UC Davis as schools and football programs, I don't like the idea of conference away games that don't finish until after midnight - would North Dakota NBC even air those games?

IL is so much more corrupt than ND that it's not even comparable. I'm not going to derail this thread, but in IL you're more likely to go to prison if you're elected governor than if you murder someone. There's a reason they call it the Chicago Machine.

Yeah, wouldn’t surprise me at all that the corruption in IL is far grander than that of ND based on nothing but scale alone. That still does not imply that ND corruption == 0.0.

How can you know? The rules, detection, and enforcement in ND are pathetic. The NGO Coalition for Integrity literally gave North Dakota a 0% score on its anti-corruption index.

This. Not a fan of the giant conferences where you don't play multiple teams. Leads to paper tigers.

Also, congratulations to BV on having a discussion about government (albeit thread drift) that didn't get personal or partisan.

Of course, now I'm sure I've jinxed it

Yes, limited number of games combine with humans generally being poor at the sort of evaluation required by that circumstance.

That NGO is worth all the grains of salt you want. They grade based on having specific laws against corruption, not the amount a state actually has. It's worthless as a measure of corruption because they don't even attempt to measure it.

Nowhere have I said ND is not corrupt, all politicians are to varying degrees. But if you think ND is more corrupt than Illinois I really don't know what to tell you. They're not even in the same league.
