There will be less than 11 teams in the MVFC come 2020. And now I hope it is us. #BeenThereDoneThat

Me too but I'm guessing ISUb or YSU.

Hate to loose YSU despite them being the furthest east team. Larry Bird (ISUb) could leave and no one might notice.

Yeah I honestly don't know why ISUb keeps trying. Either move to the PFL or shutter it. They do way more with less then Missouri State though I'll give them that.

UND has been talking to Summit MVFC & BigSky for quite a while. Big Sky agreement was if we keep them informed of our move with enough time not to have to re-schedule, they'll waive the $1M buyout & that has been successfully done. Summet was no problem. MVFC was the challenge, and with time they started to give in, especially with 3 years time before UND starts and because there's great potential for more membership change.

Publicly, PV can't say anything differently. At least one WILL be gone. 11 teams is just not ideal for scheduling. Mix that in with the best conference from top to bottom who already struggles getting enough deserving teams in the playoffs doesn't make sense. And why, as PV stated on The Insiders, would the MVFC make this decision to help out the Summit? Maybe I'm just bothered that UND, in the end, always gets their way.

You guys caved to early on the big sky negotiation. They would have all chipped into the kitty to PAY you to leave. Travel cost wise they would have still come out ahead.

That's what I was thinking. If all parties played their cards right we might have gotten the BSC to pay the MVC a million or two to take UND off their hands
