Agreed. But SDSU and USD are incredible right now in wbb. Better than ndsu sure, but no way they out perform the South Dakota schools.

Jacks advance to the Sweet 16! That is a big F'n deal!
SDSU USD and last year WIU are the only teams to go to NCAA since NDSU has been eligible. Don't think we made any secondary tournaments as we usually are at best so far 500 team in summit. Had a couple okay years the first year of eligibility but ever since then all downhill.

There's this wonderful new thing called gobison.com that easily answers questions like that in under five minutes.
No, the Bison have not made the NCAA or NIT tournaments since moving to DI.
No, the Bison are not even a regular .500 team in the Summit. Two years below .500 for every one year at or above .500. Under .500 since 2012.

2011 9-9 T6th
2012 8-10 T5th
2013 6-10 7th
2014 2-12 8th
2015 7-9 6th
2016 2-14 9th (missed Summit tourney)
2017 4-12 7th
2018 2-12 7th
2019 4-12 7th
Yes, the Bison have won only one game in Sioux Falls; 2009 vs. (6) WIU. First year eligible for the tourney.
Amy Ruley had 1 year in the Summit League and had as many conference wins as the last 4 years under Walseth. She also had the old BSA to draw recruits.
DeHoff looks like coach K compared to Walseth but all of her success was with Ruleys players.
Coaching is everything in basketball

Join the Green and the Gold Collective to take Bison football to the next level. Starts at $10 a month
The Green and The Gold Collective is excited to announce our #DriveToFive membership campaign. The goal of this campaign is to get to 500 monthly members. Reaching this goal will help us provide financial support to NDSU student athletes, including every returning member of the football team that saw action on the field last year!

I've been in too many gyms with them, and attended too many games, to keep it all straight.
I was at that game in SF in 2009.
Which is why I said at best they were 500 team, wasn't saying they were consistently 500 year in year out. Meant it sort of as saying at their best they essentially were .500. But understandably it could have been read the other way.
