Agreed. But what you're seeing is the byproduct of human emotion. They take the stair - step up ("we need to take it one game at a time" - to - "Bison need to win every game by 20+) and the elevator shaft down (after one loss on the road to a good team - "Playoffs?! Don't talk about playoffs! Playoffs?!" - "The Bohl effect..." - etc).

No doubt, the season is only one game in. After 3-4 games you have more to base on. After only one game the polls are based as much on last year as the one game played this year. It's way too early to say a team is too high or low or should be in the polls.

The problem with that was there weren't a whole lot of teams that played like a top 10 team. Oh and minus a handful of plays and some crappy play calling we did play like a top 10 team.

When we start losing to bad teams, or even just one non-top 10 teams, then we can start having that conversation
