Joe's high school coach called into KFAN this morning to talk to Paul Allen about Joe Haeg's almost catch in the super bowl.

    https://www.iheart.com/podcast/139-p...eman-77408518/

He calls in around 30 minutes in and the Haeg talk really starts at 31:30

Also a fun mention about how when Jerry Kill became head coach at Minnesota he told him(The caller, Brainerd football coach) "If NDSU wants a kid, we want him too".

Came across another name with a Fargo connection who also is with Tampa Bay - Jack Cichy - Twin Cities native who played for Wisconsin. Was a 6th round draft pick by TB in 2018 and has fought through injuries and gained roster spots. Son of Shanley great Steve Cichy and grandson of Sid Cichy.

Unfortunately for Cichy, he was injured and did not play in the Super Bowl

It showed. Steelers couldn't do anything on offense, particularly had no success in the run game.

One of the all-time best #NDSU football players. A four-year starter, drafted in the NFL and won Super Bowl LV with Tom Brady. Nearly caught a pass in the Super Bowl!

What a career for the Brainerd kid.

It wasnt a drop though. It was knocked out of his hands but an actual receiver probably catches it
