Great news. It'd be great to have him for EWU, hope for his sake he can get back ASAP for his senior season.

That being said, he shouldn't feel rushed by the schedule. Need him 100% by the third conference game. MVSU, Robert Morris, Missouri State, and Indiana State shouldn't require his services with our depth at the position.

Glad it is not season ending but I really hope it heals fully before he gets back on the field so it isn't an injury that lingers and hampers his entire senior season. We have lost a couple of TE during Illie's career. Marcus Collins and Braydon Lund. Amazing the depth we still have at that position.

Really hoping they can get out of fall camp without any more serious injuries. We have been fortunate so far to have depth at the positions where players have gone down.
