    Default MVFC Pigskin Parlay

Alright folks, MVFC Pigskin Parlay (yet another pick'em game) is back again for 2015. Unless I can be convinced otherwise, I am doing just the one conference (Missouri Valley) contest this year although there will be a few games to pick from other conferences. Lots of new stuff this year. The game pick form has been streamlined and made more friendly on mobile devices. Also, you can now augment your weekly game pick points with a few extra bonus referral reward points by getting some of your family, friends and colleagues to join in. The pick form now includes the Massey Matchup spread for all games just in case you need a little extra help. Last year, we had a Survivor contest and it returns in Week #5 with a bevy of other "sidebet" games along the way that will always keep you on your toes. We kick off the season with a sidebet called Quick Draw McGraw that matches your pick wits and finger dexterity skills against the likes of MisterMassey and the other players. With a separate sidebet game always in play, there will be at least two $25 e-gift certificate winners each and every week. Tentatively, I am considering a special "Social Group Shootout" contest for Week #7 ($100 group reward) if there are a few reasonably-sized referral groups in the player mix. The top three finishers in the regular season point total race will receive $100, $75, and $50. And of course, we will finish off the season with an FCS Playoff Pool (rewards TBD) where hopefully two Missouri Valley teams will once again square off to take home all of the marbles.

Also new this year, I will not be at all picky when it comes to a spot for the contest winners to cash in their victory rewards. The registration page includes a long list, among them favorites for guys and gals alike. If your favorite is not there, I will do my best to get you and/or your reward where you would like you/it to go, including charitable organizations in your name.

That is all. I hope to see a few of you in the contest this year. Here is the link to the web page to get started (click on "Register/Submit Week 1 Predictions" and then "Register Now"):

Not trying to steal SealHall's thunder, but this is his pigskin parlay...and it is a lot of fun and you have a chance to win some stuff from it.

Last call to earn those extra referral reward points. This week's sidebet game is for the dog lovers and stadium aficionados (Where's Chance). I have also settled on the reward for FCS Playoff Bracket Pool and it will be $100 PLUS $10 for each week played during the regular season. Last but not least, the ink is now drying on my ticket (albeit a standing room one) for the November Bison/Leatherneck matchup. No problem. I did it in that way last year from the endzone in Macomb. Looking forward to the Dome game experience.

I am bringing it back for the 2016 season. Pretty much the same as last year but I added a new preseason poll as the week 1 sidebet. No cost to play and you can earn weekly e-gift rewards to a variety of restaurants and stores of your choosing. The more you play during the regular season, the more you can potentially earn in the FCS Playoff Pool. IIRC, it was KidZer0 who took home all of the Playoff Pool marbles last year. The link below will get you started (click on Register/Submit Week 1 Predictions and then Register as a new player). Good luck!

Highly recommend giving this a shot if you haven't done it already. It's a nice way to get a little more invested in the conference as a whole and the FCS as there is almost always a few national games to pick from. Plus, it doesn't cost anything and you can win giftcards to a number of places.

sealhall74 does a great job setting this up

I already have a few of you signed up yesterday because you played last year and got the early word. For others, the MVFC Pigkskin Parlay online pick'em contest is back again this fall. Chances to win e-gift certificates to restaurants, stores, and online shopping services. It will not cost you one plugged nickel to play. Twelve games to pick each week with a few thrown in from Big Sky, CAA, and OVC conferences. Most weeks, I also have a sidebet game which offers additional rewards. There is an FCS playoff bracket challenge at the end and the more you play during the regular season, the more you can potentially win for it. Below is the link to get the ball rolling. From that web page, you can click on the "Help" link (bottom right) to get more info about rules, scoring system, and rewards. If you are interested in playing, just click on the "Register/Submit Week 1 Predictions" link on that page and register as a new user to get started.

The MVFC pick'em contest returns for 2019. Quite a few of you already signed up, could always use a few more.
