    The smoke was so thick on part of the drive, it was almost like driving through fog and it got dark enough for the automatic headlights on our Jeep to come on around 4:00 PM. Walking around wasn't too bad although strenous activity might have been tough.

    All Bison stuff was removed from the Welcome to Montana sign before we got there early Friday morning not too long after sunrise.
