So before the game do Oregon players do a runway show to model their latest football uniform fashion?
Midwest quickness and toughness? Pac-12 speed? There is no inherent toughness or quickness or speed depending on where you’re from. You’re either fast, quick and tough or you’re not. Being from the Midwest doesn’t make you inherently tougher than Oregon. This is so dumb. We keep being told how there isn’t much talent separation. Obviously we disagree.
Let’s make a bet. You and me $200 straight up loser donates the money to Special Olympics Oregon or North Dakota.

There is a reason that only Sagarin attempts to blend FCS into their analytics models. It’s very difficult because of the available samples are so small which makes the results very spotty. Maybe that’s the case and it becomes evident in September but if it was so easy to say why doesn’t FEI or SP+ have FCS included in their models?

    I'd take that bet.
Some say it's a backward place. Narrow minds on a narrow way, but I make it a point to say. That that's where I come from.

No. NDSU would beat Memphis, Houston, Cincy, and App State. 50/50 against UCF and Boise.

SP+ is working on integrating FCS teams from what I understand.

Its not the the samples are small, FCS is better connected to the bulk of FBS than any single conference (100+ games vs 30-40), its that Sagarin is basically just a linear regression so its pretty easy, while other metrics are more complicated.

Massey also includes FCS teams fwiw.

These are NDSU's peers, regional high mid majors. I would include Fresno State and Utah State as well.

Possibly. I'd love play home and homes with em to find out.
Many thousands are in want of common necessaries; hundreds of thousands are in want of common comforts, sir."
Scrooge-"Are there no prisons?". "Plenty of prisons..."
Scrooge-"And the Union workhouses." . "Are they still in operation?". "Both very busy, sir..."
"Those who are badly off must go there."
"Many can't go there; and many would rather die."
Scrooge- "If they would rather die," "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."
