Right. You wouldn’t play at the level you do without good OL. That being said, this specific group of interior OL vs the NDSU mean is my specific question. Watching the team that played Iowa, the interior seemed better than this year. I see the guard #66 and the center as a grade lower. It looks like Nash Jensen was an underclassmen, so maybe he improves a ton.

Will NDSU players wear polarized and shaded face mask covers to block out the glare from neon green unis and chrome helmets?

We’ve only worn that in the Rose Bowl.

I can only find 10 NDSU alumni all time who played OLine in the NFL including TE’s. Am I missing some?

No. If there's one position group at NDSU that we never really worry about it's the Rams. They always seem to step up to the challenge. Will they get beat at times, sure just like your guys.

Our O Line this year should be one of our better groups comparatively throughout the years. But that’s the same as saying you’ll have a top 5 D this year, in the sense that neither group has played a down.

At this point we are extrapolating from past data. I am not saying that Oregon will have top 5 defense and talking this to the bank. I am bullish on the defense being improved.

To make this less tedious, what are your thought on Jensen and Schoening?

Honestly I’m probably the wrong guy to ask... I’m no expert, but I tend to judge the O-line, especially the interior, as a unit rather than be able to key in on specific guys and critique their technique, etc. Some Oregon guy on here posted a couple of videos of one of our O-Lineman having a couple of bad plays against JMU. As a whole, probably unfair to pick out 2-3 bad plays and say our Interior O-Line will be weak, but, again, I’m no expert.

I also suggested we roll tape of the ASU game last year and pick out every shitty Oregon play, but no one was interested. Go figure.

Ha! In your effort to make this less tedious you make it only more so.

There is really no point in continuing the “discussion”. It’s clear that your conditioned FBS “star system” mind can not, will not accept what we attempt to tell you.

You want to talk about individual players? Head over to the buckeye board.

Meanwhile our zero star no name misfits will just keep trying to get better. Every dang day.
    Don't believe everything you think.
