I would be absolutely shocked if we let them roll all over us in a loss (say 17 pts plus).

Final score with green colored glasses
    Bison 27
    Ducks 24

Final score without the cool classes
    Bison 21
    Ducks 31
Kobe Johnson is going to be "A BIG DEAL" by the end of this year. Trey Lance will get better "Thats a frightening thought", just ran over this years roster, Wow is there some depth and YOUNG talent, if the stars align next year may really be something special. I think the Bison have a solid shot at this years title but I'm betting on a couple nail biters yet. Nobody beats this team if they clean up the silly penalties.

The thing about the PAC 12 is that its not a real physical league. Beyond Stanford, the Ducks don't usually play teams with any toughness or muscle, although occasionally the Huskies offer a bit of that. This is where the Bison will naturally give them fits. Our brand of ball is unusual out here. What's crazy is the way that we play physical offense. It is actually not a dumb smashmouth type of ball. It's actually fairly sophisticated, testing the entire field throughout the game. I absolutely love the idea of a no-huddle power game. What a way to fuck with a finesse defense! So awesome.

This year's Ducks team is more physical than typical in the PAC 12 by far. They're really out-muscling everyone in the league. Heck, for 3-1/2 quarters against Auburn, they dominated the LOS. They actually graduate a lot more than QB this year. They have 26 seniors this year. Ten of these are starters: 5 on offense, 3 on defense, and 2 specialists. More than losing Herbert next year, I think their drop in physicality will be their downfall against us. That's something that is harder to see in fall camp when you're just practicing against yourself.

I'm really looking forward to this game. I think the 2020 Bison will be stronger than the 2019 squad. I feel like we have a decent chance.
    Insert something clever here...

Oregon will probably be favored in the low 20s. I still want to see how this NDSU team finishes the season. There are a few keys positions that a team like Oregon could expose. We should be able to hold our own. Ducks lose some key spots on Offense, but have been recruiting top 5-10 classes recently. Not to mention they have Ohio State the following week.

I think The Ohio State the following week will have a little play in it regardless of what anyone from Oregon says. It'll be the typical first game warm up mentality unless the Bison win then it'll turn to "We treated them just like any B1G team was coming in here". Unfortunately we won't know which one it'll be until after the game and can judge for ourselves.

31-30 Bison over Ducks. I’d honestly be a bit surprised if we lost.

It dawned on me today that assuming Bison win on Saturday there are only two outcomes for the season. Undefeated or one loss for the year. Not that I want Oregon to win but it would be pretty cool if the win streak stopped there. Frankly, not sure it will happen but not disappointed if that comes to fruition.

I’m awfully concerned about Bridges’ replacement. Our #3 guy has had some really horrific games this year that I don’t know how they ever will translate to a championship level CB.

If you're looking for a "safe space", you've come to the wrong place bro(ette). Every opinion you place in this space will very likely be challenged in the extreme. Or are you always right......in you own mind?

not questioning your observation, don’t you think anyone will improve or positions get moved around to bolster the position. Every year we think no one can replace “insert name here” but it happens. Just look at this year’s roster. Not many people would have wagered an undefeated season to this point much less conference champions.

Remember when Bridges (and Hayes) was a replacement for a solid starter a few years back and did well in the Championship Game?

Like the WR corp was this year, I expect a lot of new comers, some we’ve already seen, will rise to the challenge as being the next great Bison DB.
