We have less problems with Watson-types than we do with Mahomes-types, and there is a big difference IMO.

Those throwback bowl games are to die for, as in they make me realize how close to dying I am based on how young I was when I watched them/when they were played. New Years Eve and Day game I was glued to/fixated on my TV REGARDLESS OF WHO WAS PLAYING. Just fun, and a good party if one could convince the other sex into that mindset. The good old days!! Loved them!!

    Expect some slants from Shough.
I believe that by the end of the season he will be better at reading the opposing D than Herbert ever was. Shough will tuck and run when Herbert (for what the hell ever reason) would take a sack.

Absolutely. The playoffs and BCS have kind of taken away from those New Years bowl games, but I'll still take in the Rose Bowl, no matter who is playing.

It's also so weird to see the FCS title game so late. I remember that always being the week before Christmas.

I'm glad they've moved it to though and to a day game (vs I think a Friday night), which is a lot more fun. Of course you guys filling the stadium doesn't hurt in terms of atmosphere

It may look great on TV, but national championship games at 11am are the work of the devil. Good lord it was a 9am kickoff on the west coast. NDSU fans beg for a Friday night championship over an 11a kick.
