In fairness to Jones, not all of his seasons were on offense. He spends his first couple of years behind McFadden, gets moved to CB, and now he is back at RB. The next time he touches the ball on offense will be something like his 51st touch in his career not on special teams. He hasn't had a whole lot of chances. He is going to make over $7m guaranteed in his career counting his current contract for a guy who has been a backup the whole time and a special teamer. Not bad for a guy with a team who has admittedly never known how to use him the right way.

Started as RB and kept getting hurt/fumble issues. CB experiment was a big waste of time, just a bad idea to start. He is a stud on ST's though. Also helps that he has a legit QB with an offense with some playmakers...

Not bashing....just surprised. I knew he did both offense and defense. More surprised he hasn't gotten some touchdown via special teams or on defense also.

I give him props. He has been in the NFL as a backup with the same team for 5 years. You do not see that too much.

Totally agree! I tuned into the game and saw Marcus at safety and had a wtf moment. The coach that came up with that brilliant idea should be canned.

I didn't think you were bashing, just point out he hasn't gotten a whole lot of opportunities. Not only a backup and getting swapped back and forth from offense to defense, but when his rookie deal was done they made him one of the highest paid special teamers in the NFL. Not a bad gig if you can get it. He is living a life most people only dream about.

They would have been better off putting rivas at safety and letting MW play corner.
