Shepherd presents a skill set the Packers don’t currently have on the roster. He could be a legitimate option for the practice squad by the end of the summer, and a darkhorse candidate to make the 53-man roster if he stands out as a slot receiver and returner combo.

The Packers also made a waiver-wire claim of a WR/PR, a 2nd year player. Looks like direct competition for that spot.

Good for Chris! He has always been a hard worker and a team guy. The Ravens defensive coordinator is Wink Martindale. He made a nice transition from Game Show Host to Defensive Coordinator.

Nice! He kind of reminds of Ramon Humber's career trajectory. Humber was overshadowed by Joe Mays during his college career but turned out to really blossom as a NFL special teamer and parleyed that into a long and successful pro career. Board was always overshadowed by Nick Deluca during his college career but (so far at least - Deluca still has his chance to blossom in the NFL) has turned out to be the best pro player of that NDSU LB group.
