what the hell is going on in LA? the chargers were supposed to be the team to challenge New England and Pittsburgh.

Yeah, that's what everybody said...before today. Kyle did show off his vertical jumping ability on the TD he gave up. If he'd had another 3", he might have tipped it.

Saints defense was an absolute joke today. Maybe they were confused and kept the wrong Marcus.

Emanual got exposed on that TD, but how many linebackers are going to have good coverage deep? That is more of an exploited mismatch IMO. The chiefs burned several players on the chargers, so can't just blame emanuel. He looked good otherwise. The Chargers WR's (minus Allen) hurt Rivers pretty badly. I counted like 3-4 dropped TD's.

I saw Board made a tackle. I assume it was special feams, but didn't get to watch the game.

Joe Haeg started at left tackle for the Colts and did fine when I watched him. Sounds like he may be the starting right tackle when Costanzo returns.

I heard more than one prognosticator say that even though they are picking the Chargers to do well this year, they were picking this game as a loss because they historically do badly against the Cheifs and also they start slow...

Well they will always have a worse record than expected. Every game they play is a road game now. Looked like 90% of the crowd was wearing Chiefs gear yesterday.

Don’t know if anyone has posted this. Boards dad and girlfriend were parked next to us in frisco, didn’t know anyone, so they tailgated with us. They were really nice and told us about his sons plans after Bison football. Guess things went as planned!
