The lower paid NFL guys don't really make that much when you consider how long the average NFL career lasts.

    Great response, comrade.

Many of the practice players live out of hotels because there is no security on the practice squads to they really cant sign a lease. They have to eat out all the time.
So its pretty expensive to be on the practice squad.

I think they make plenty they just don't know how to manage their wealth. I know I didn't when I was 21-25 and I was making peanuts compared to what those guys make. If someone making a few hundred thousand as a single person or married without kids they should be able to knock a good 10+ years off their retirement age if they invest their excess income into a retirement account at that age for 2-4 years. The added benefit is they'd learn to live on an average income for someone that age so when their playing days are over they wouldn't have to make a big adjustment due to reduced income.

But good luck getting guys that age to do that when they finally have money after living on the scraps most of us did during college.

Wow.....Dallas flat out released LB Jaylon Smith....
Gotta think some snaps will go to J.Cox in Big Nickle D
Keanu Neal, Jayron Kearse are more SS than LB

Cox should get more snaps but Dallas has been all about playing more 3 safety sets.

The shitty thing is he's playing no better or worse than Conklin who gets all the benefit of the doubt.
