Or it's a ploy to try to get NDSU to offer a full if they've only offered a partial to this point. Kinda like what NDSU did with that Sczyrbak kid (no idea on spelling) a couple years ago. Of course in that case he wasn't verballed yet.

Let's just say rumblings I've heard confirm this. But, no ink has been set to paper so it's a wait and see type of thing. Hoping for the best.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.

It would certainly be disappointing and much like Tornedson, but the quality of the class is still very high.

So if that is the case make up his mind already. He commited to NDSU over 5 months ago. Don't think much of someone who has all this time and needs to wait to flip at signing day. Without a tweet confirming he is staying with NDSU this appears to be the case. Gives NDSU no time for a replacement.

He got an offer from Eastern Michigan too so that might be in the mix.

I guess instead of getting bummed if we lose a TE recruit, we should look and see what we have.
Ellefson had Big Ten scholarship offers and he will be a RFR. Jensen was rapidly moving up thr depth charts towards the end of the year and he's 6-6 and only a sophomore, and Illies may have the best hands of any TE we've ever had and he has 2 more years. Wentz had gotten significant playing time and has 2 more years and don't forget about Matt Anderson who will be a redshirt freshman.

And don't forget about Lund who is also coming in as a TE

Next year we will definitely need another TE / DE. Would love to have Lloyd join the Herd but the cubbord ain't empty and we're young and extremely talented.

39 Ben Ellefson TE 6-3 243 Fr. Hawley, Minn. Hawley HS
49 Matt Anderson TE 6-4 228 Fr. Lakeland, Minn. Stillwater HS
85 Nate Jenson TE 6-6 243 RFr. Waupaca, Wis. Waupaca HS
86 Jeff Illies TE 6-3 221 So. Lidgerwood, N.D. Lidgerwood HS
87 Connor Wentz TE 6-3 248 So. Dunnellon, Fla.
