I am reading Marcus Williams interview by some Jets reporter, he attributes his skills to his basketball background. I think we can look for somebody like that, I mean, basketball background for our future CB . How about converting Carey Woods to a CB
" Our strategy for winning against BISON was simple, we put our WRs and RBs in a 1 on 1 situation with their defense in the backfield.....everybody knows they have some freshman who cannot tackle in a 1 on 1 situation.....Joe Glen"

Lund caught four passes for 81 yards in Minot's 35-7 win over Bismarck Century.

Woods quit the team to walk on to the basketball team.

It really must be tough on teams that want to see the Bison "fall" back to the pack. We continue to get excellent recruits and improve the program. Coaches continue to improve their abilities. Coach Kramer add beef and muscle to the guys. This train is still running hard and the tracks ahead look really smooth yet. Sorry for all those teams wanting us to come down, not going to happen. Notice I used the word "program" for us compared to "team" for the rest. We are the Program everyone is trying to catch. We Are NDSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How well a team plays together when the going gets tough (both within and between games) is still needed to make the long haul through the season and playoffs.

Agreed, I guess that is what I was also including by saying excellent recruits. Meaning guys that fit the culture and system and attitude we want. Trying to minimize the potential trouble before they even start to happen.

I agree with all you said, but even with the best skilled and attitude players still need that team chemistry thing, the desire to get better and push through adversity. Curious if this team overall has "it", that is, the hunger for a 5th championship in row. There are so many teams salivating for the chance to defeat NDSU........Montana did it, and the Bunnies are the next possible threat.

What's probably more frustrating is our competitors are going out and spending huge bucks on things like IPFs, new stadiums, and other fancy stuff and it's not helping as we're winning more battles than ever in head to head recruiting. Meanwhile we've added full COA, a bubble, the shac, and will soon have thr best video boards in the FCS. (Even better than many FBS programs)
