Arrested for selling 10-30 grams= Class "4" felony= one year mandatory minimum sentence/maximum 3 years plus 25K fine.
The charges can always be reduced, especially if he cooperates---ie., discloses his supplier.

Newspaper article says that he was arrested for "unlawful delivery of marijuana" and the penalty is probation to three years. I don't know if that is a difference charge than selling.

They are the same thing.

In a "typical" case, yes on probation; but, here, he was selling to a member of a drug task force (according to the article--and pretty difficult to question the integrity/credibility of the author ). That suggests that he was on their radar, which, in turn, suggests this is not your run-of-the-mill/"typical" case.

I'm not so sure what Coprich is accused of is the same situation.
