I'm definitely a fan of that one, the only non-conference team we really had here last year that wasn't a regional game or part of a tournament was the Akron game and it was one they owed us. We had Crookston and Northland (Wisc.) for exhibition games, then we had Kennesaw St and Hampton for the tournament we got to host which still aren't really much for names to a casual basketball fan and then UND. They haven't been all that good recently but at least NC A&T is a name that's been on the national radar a few times. Always nice to see new teams come to town, maybe we can get another game or two like that and we can drop one of the exhibition games. I'm assuming we'll still have 1 to start the season but would be nice to play a game that matters instead of versus a Northland or VCSU like we've had in the middle of the season the last couple years just to get a home game.

If we can keep getting into the tourney that will go along way with some home home games with other mid major teams from anywhere.

    Meh.
That's pretty much the same as the old BSA during the early transition years (pre-Woodside and crew).

The Bison will go to Utah State and participate in a tournament USU is hosting...Not a great lineup of teams though outside of USU...

    Idaho State Bengals (Big Sky)
    UTRGV Vaqueros (WAC)
    Utah State Aggies (MW)

That said Utah State has a great home court atmosphere so it should be fun for the team to compete in.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

    It's NC A&T

    Not

    NC ST

I just don't see them being more of a draw than Akron, Southern Miss even Towson around here, but good to get outside the region

Utah State is usually a fair to good team, but overall not shaping up to be a good schedule from a RPI/Strength standpoint. Actually looks horrible now that I pull up last years RPI numbers for NC A&T, Idaho State and UTRGV. That last one is a real winner. From what I know, that is the result of perennial DI dog of a school TX PAN-Am combining with some NAIA school. Hopefully Montana can balance out Montana State. Those games are nice for name recognition and butts in seats though. If NDSU makes the tourney I see another low seed because the margin of error on regular season losses next year looking to be thin.. I'm not completely up to speed on RPI/BPI and all that but it looks to me that the only thing that can help is if other Summit teams do above average in OOC play. Almost forgot UN_. There's another anchor. Rat farts.

I didn't even know UTRGV existed until today. I just thought Grand Canyon existed in the WAC...... Can't believe Texas Pan American merged to become UTRGV. Man... that the WAC is wack. haha
