    Would be simple Pythagorean mathematics. You know where the ball is thrown from you can get pretty good gauge how far it went when it hit it's apex. Get a measurement on the angle and bingo should be able to figure height.

    Looked like a punt when they showed the track on the replay.

    Calculate the air time. Multiply by 16. Gives max height.
