Just when the Alouettes were taking control, Crockett has a nice return and some good runs on a scoring drive with the Redblacks. He has been showing really nice burst today.

Weineke also had a nice TD grab and Vernon Adams has been playing fantastic.

Crockett finished with 8 runs for 62 yards, averaging 7.8 yards per carry.

That's a pretty good stat line in the CFL for a running back. Pass happy league because of the 3 downs. Needed to impress to stay on because both backs are American.

I’d say he had a solid showing. I think he’ll get more and more reps as the season goes on.

It is also worth noting that Crockett had a 31 yard kick return. Their regular returner was averaging under 20 per return when i last checked. He also made some very questionable decisions and Crockett appeared to have more burst than him.
