Touchdown Crockett! On a 10 yard catch!

5 carries for 7 yards thus far.

Not to brag...but I saw that play coming out of that formation.

    From Rotoworld:
Packers rookie RB John Crockett contributed 26 yards on 10 carries and caught one pass for a 10-yard touchdown in Thursday's preseason win against the Patriots.
Crockett made a back shoulder catch on a Brett Hundley screen pass before beating Geneo Grissom for the 10-yard score. The rest of his night wasn't as impressive as Crockett averaged just 2.6 yards per carry with a long of six yards. The 23-year-old is hoping to crack the Packers' 53-man roster after signing in May as a UDFA.

At first it looked like an easy TD but that was a pretty athletic play. The ball was underthrown and he had to catch it and spin to get in the end zone. I didn't see many of his runs but I would assume they happened with the 3rd string or he had no room. Not a terrible start since he's probably a little behind being hurt. John will need to stick out as a receiver

Don't be surprised if John gets reps with the 2nd string or others. They will probably rotate the RBs to see what they've got in preseason games.

Crockett had nothing for blocking on most every run. In one case two defenders met him in the backfield a nanosecond after he got the handoff. John had two nice runs from nothing near the end of the game. One for a tough 6 yards and another tough one for 3 or 4 yards and a first down to essentially finish the game.

This is what I saw as well. If he had the blocking that Lacy had at the beginning of the game, we more than likely would have seen what he has for after burners. I was actually really proud of JC's ability to turn absolutely nothing into something all night. Hope the coaches give him a shot earlier in the game next time.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.
