42 in a row for me. Last home game missed was the home opener of 2010. That was the game some freshman named Brock made his debut, threw 3 TD's, and the rest is history. I missed that game for a wedding. Ironically, my streak will end at 42 as I will miss the home opener this year to attend another wedding.

We have had season tickets since 2004 and have gone to 75 of the 76 home games---had to miss the 2010 Youngstown game due to illness. Since then I have decreed that no one in my family may get sick anywhere close to a home game. In addition, weddings, funerals, graduations, award ceremonies, baptisms, communions, bar mitzvahs, babysitting, or any other legal or moral obligations are banned from the middle of August until after the middle of January if they even remotely come close to a home game. After going to Weber State and USD last year the ban may have to be extended to cover some away games. Barbecues used to be on the forbidden list but I will be at tailgating this year----thank you Tatanka and others.

When older Bison, hundreds of years ago...would encounter a feral pic, and chase it around and toss it back and forth with their horns...this could have been the precursor of modern day FB. I wonder if Road has any photo's of that??

I've had season tickets since 2004 and have missed 2 games in that span. Last one was the Miss Valley State game.

After checking back on the schedule to 2004, I can't remember missing any home games since then. The last one might have been UN_ around 2002(?) for a hunting trip out to western ND. I remember listening to it on the radio and it was pretty dysmal.

Edit: I remembered a game I missed. 2005 Homecoming against UC Davis. I had to work that day.

Well the students chanted.."Sooner Reject" a lot that day!!

That Sooner Reject almost beat us that day. Except a miracle happened and many of us were there to witness it.

Gets me thinking of something I've mentioned here before, and it's the amount of times I've completely lost my mind out of excitement at a Bison game. There aren't many, but that was one of those times.

He started at OK if I am correct so I wouldn't say he was a reject. The NCAA and he disagreed on how much effort went in to his high paying off season job.
