NDSU is in a twitter bracket battle with Nebraska in a contest called "Greatest College Fan Base".

Anyway, samsrams was doing a great job getting the word out as NDSU rolled through the 64-team bracket, but Nebraska isn't fooling around.

Just an FYI, this website had a Greatest College Nickname bracket and the Bison made the Final Four.

Winner: YSU Penguins (how the heck did that happen?)
Runner up: Minnesota Golden Gophers
Final Four: Bison and VT Hokies

They have NDSU with a record of 8-2 overall. I'm guessing we lost in the first round of the Greatest College Mascot bracket.
