SDSU women add a DI transfer, eligible in 2016-17.
6' 0" Tonia Wade was at St John's (NY). She only averaged 1.4 ppg, 1.7 rpg as a FR,
but was Class 4A All-State in Minnesota at Bloomington Kennedy, before being recruited by St John's.
Hope this means the Jacks are about out of schollies for next year.....

SDSU has been full for their 2016 recruits since last year and I believe they only have 1 scholorship left for 2017....the only reasoning for the past couple of late signings is because of 2 players transferred out, 1 being a starter and the other was red-shirting.

Western Illinois may lose the current Summit League Women's Player of the Year due to personal reasons:
Ashley Luke, 6' 1", from Oak Creek, Wisconsin, would be a senior this upcoming season.

Luke earned her undergraduate degree in May and she's getting married in the near future. Her fiance has obligations in Wisconsin to fulfill and, as of now, Luke plans to remain in her native state with her future husband.

That would be a big loss for them. She is a really good player. Maybe the team knew this was coming anyways and the public did not. Either way good luck to her in her marriage and life after BB and college.

Was reading about Syracuse punishment and didn't realize Ron Patterson transferred to IUPUI. He was a 4 star recruit before going Syracuse. I would assume he'll have two years of eligibility starting in 16-17.

Dang. Yotes add another intriguing piece to their 2016 class...

    http://www.yankton.net/sports/articl...b734618c9.html

For those following along at home, he joins a 2016 class with:
-Tyler Peterson from Centennial HS in the Twin Cities (1,000 point career scorer / 24 PPPG)
-Tristin Simpson from Lincoln, a PG beating SDSU in a head-to-head recruiting battle (NDSU also had interest)
-Three Transfers who become eligible (Carlton Hurst - Colorado St. / Trey Dickerson - Iowa / Matt Mooney - Air Force)

Their 2015 class is also solid. Yotes will be improved next year, but when they move into their new facility in 2016, they could be formidable.
