I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
Replica championship rings can kind of be a taboo thing in some circles, especially if worn, and I do understand that. They're not for me personally.
I will note, however, that NDSU also sells (or has sold) game-worn team jerseys and continues to sell replica team jerseys (even after championship years) and replica team helmets to it's fans (and I'm pretty sure most of those buyers haven't earned a roster spot on the current team yet, ). The replica helmets are usually not worn (at least openly ) but the jerseys, of course, are quite popular items at Bison games (even though I don't wear a jersey OR a helmet myself).
I'm guessing these rings would be used more like the replica helmets - as unworn commemoratives - but either way, I don't have much issue with it.
A word of caution, however. I don't think it would be wise to actually wear your replica ring, jersey or helmet.............to an important business meeting, wedding, or job interview. (I know, I know. I'm an old fuddy-duddy.)
I'm surprised they put 4 peat on the ring. To me this should be a single season ring especially since they have different players each year and some weren't even on the the previous teams. But I assume the players designed the rings so they can have what they want.
