within next 10 years I suspect all B10 schools will have lacrosse and currently denver, air force, marquette, detroit all have DI program. Lacrosse is big in Colorado so there is some talk of CSU and CU eventually going D1 and probably most of PAC12. The sport is fastest growing in US and most of what is holding up most school of having varsity programs is Title IX but with time(10-15 years) you will see quite a few DI programs.. I don't expect NDSU to add in next 10 years but hoping in 10-20 year range..

My guess would be for title ix is to add women's lacrosse along with men's? Have to have scholarship dollars available though obviously...
Is women's sanctioned by NCAA yet? Edit: Nm looked it up and it is.

yes women's lacrosse is sanctioned. I think womens lacrosse can fund 11 scholarhsips and men's 10.4 scholarhships...
