A QB out of Texas with a very impressive offer list including Coastal Carolina, Eastern Washington, Montana St, and Northern Iowa (also an FBS offer from Eastern Michigan). This must be their top target at QB???

EDIT: Check that, I guess it's not a new offer but still looks light a recruiting slugfest amongst some FCS heavyweights.

FWIW, Eastern Michigan recently got a verbal from another NDSU 2016 interest at QB, Kamal Martin of Burnsville MN.

Another thing interesting about QB Hank Hughes' listed offer from NDSU is one of the competitors, Montana State.
One of the reasons for MSU dropping the NDSU game at the last minute, (aka bobcating)
given by some of their fans (and administration?) is the SMU game allowed them to play a game in Texas,
which is one of their prime recruiting areas. Let the Texas kids play a game in front of the home fans, or so it went.
MSU's current QB, Dakota Prukop, is from Austin, Texas. He will be a JR this fall.
Approximately 14 players on the current MSU roster are from Texas.

Which is good since Hank Hughes only FBS offer to date is from them

Yep. Speedy under tackle. Beef him up and he's in the mold of Leevon Perry. He loved his visit but that's one heck of a long way for a guy who will have offers in his back yard. Hope we can get him to a game to experience the gameday madness. I'm cautiously optimistic but it would be a great win and a quality kid

I want the kid from Lawrence, KS- Bryce Torneden. I see Dudzik all over again! I think he reacts to the ball quicker than all other defensive recruits I've seen.

Listed a top 5 tonight and ndsu not listed. Location obviously a big deal for him as SFA and SHSU are in top 5 but same with bowl games as Air Force Nevada and Toledo were the other 3

Ya that's to bad, he said distance was his major factor right now. Rather loose them now than have them commit and then decide to transfer. The kid looked like he could really play and could be a difference maker.

John any thoughts/insight into who our next DT target will be? I have seen Cameron Hackl's name with interest out of WI but don't believe he has any offers yet.
