    Military Academy Costs
The military academies do not charge for tuition; Military Academy cost, including room, board, and medical and dental care, is borne entirely by the U.S. government. In addition, most candidates receive a monthly salary to pay for supplies, clothing, and personal expenses. Prior to admission, most academies require candidates to deposit approximately $2,500 to help defray the initial cost of uniforms and supplies.

They have some insane rules. Way too hard to explain so read the below article. Example. A 6-4 player can't weigh more then 220 at the start and end of football and of they do they have to have to meet a body fat requirement. Lineman sometimes drop 40 lbs their senior season to stay within the limits Their offensive lineman rarely weight over 260 lbs and they have academic requirements rivaling Ivy League schools. What's cool is this goes to show the option offense is vastly superior with smaller athletes if executed perfectly.

Pretty crazy that 2 of our top LB targets (Bassett and Matthews) may end up at Army and Princeton, respectfully. Love the way both kids play and hope they end up here, but pretty impressive opportunities for them other than NDSU. Certainly highlights the character the coaches are targeting.

Agree and it also shows that football is not the priority for a lot of kids as the education, experience, etc. may be more important. I think it's easy for fans to get caught up in recruiting as being all about football.

Very tired after too much partying over the weekend. Our coaches know better, I will leave it at that.
" Our strategy for winning against BISON was simple, we put our WRs and RBs in a 1 on 1 situation with their defense in the backfield.....everybody knows they have some freshman who cannot tackle in a 1 on 1 situation.....Joe Glen"

He was at our camp. He competed against other kids at his position. We gave out other offers, and he did not receive one. That should tell you the impression he left.
Everyone just relax, all right? Believe me, if there's one thing Ron Burgundy knows, it's women.
