Here's a fix..... don't worry about it. This is how it's been for a long time and the rules in place allow for this to happen. People will back out of NDSU verbals for what they feel is a better place. And that offer may come late. NDSU will offer and try to flip guys from other schools late in the game as well. Coaches will back out of contracts and commitments to kids as they get better job offers. Business people will leave their company to take a better or more enjoyable job. deal with it. It'll happen now and in the future.
As a rule the coaching staffs KNOW that other schools are in play until the kid is signed. Thats why they have a #2 on the board. That kid may wait until the # 1 makes a decision or not.
