I wish I had time to put together a who's who, where are they now and what did they accomplish list of highly regarded recruits that we missed out on late. Something tells me if they don't come here we usually don't miss out on much compared to what we actually put on the field.

Interesting, NDSU's safety group is young with the loss of senior-to-be
Andrew Smith and with junior-to-be Chris Board having been switched
to OLB. Dempsey and Grimsley will both be sophomores, Jaxon Brown
and Braden Sikes will be looking to contribute next season as RFr.
Eric Bachmeier and Jaylaan Wimbush are sophomores who have played.
The extra veteran depth could help special teams, as well as help
leave open the possibility of Tre Dempsey switching back to CB.

If one of these safeties can get up to speed quickly, wonder if moving Dempsey to corner would be a good idea. Allison and Demps at corner with Dakota Reid or one of the other corners used in nickel. Just a thought.
