Not too hopeful on this.....if it is a scholly offer
Toledo was the best team in Arkansas last year, beating
the Razorbacks 16-12 and Arkansas State 37-7 (WBK's school).
Toledo was 10-2 overall (6-2 MAC, 4-way tie for 1st in West Div).
Their losses were to Northern Illinois and Western Michigan.
They played in the Boca Raton Bowl, defeating Temple 32-17.
Also beat Iowa State 30-23 (OT)

Also worried about Gabe Lloyd, as are others. He has a visit
to Madison this weekend, I believe.
The good news for me was seeing the new verbal from Beau Pauly.
The coaches will be doing more of this good work, especially with
losing some recruits to bigger schools. (WBK, Awosika.....Kelley???Lloyd???)

You are leaving out the fact that the architect of that program is gone, now. Matt Campbell is the head coach at Iowa State. NDSU loses recruiting battles to the MAC, but they win them quite often as well. It'll be interesting to see how the whole thing plays out.
Now this is the law of the prairie
As old and as true as the sky
And the Bison that keep it will prosper
And the Bison that break it will die
As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk
This law is the final word:
For the strength of the Herd is the Bison
And the strength of the Bison is the Herd.

Although Im not a fan of backing out at the last minute, this has to be a huge deal for I Wisconsin kid. It doesn't get much bigger than the Badgers for him. Now it just depends if he wants to pay out of pocket vs a scholarship and if he feels he has a legit chance to earn one with the current roster.

One semi down year? Which one are you talking about? Final Sagarin ratings are 16' #19, 15' #20, 14' #18, 13' #24, 12' #8, 11' #12. It appears to me they dropped from a top 10 team to top 20 over the last 4 years. Not saying they aren't a good program but you have to admit there hasn't been a buzz about WI fb since Bielema left. What's with the "arrogant" statement about bisonville? Many of us expect excellence, is that a problem?

calling Wisconsin down makes you look like a fool. Which wouldn't be your first time. Your Milwaukee statements secured that title. Embarrassed for you to be honest. If an in state kid wants to take a walk on to Wisconsin, it would be an honor for that kid. Yeah, you are the only one that expects excellence....ok.

Pretend you are 18 and going on a visit to Madison. State Street, Jump around, unreal facilities, it is your home state team, etc. Pretty amazing. Hope a full ride and COA gets him. Just stating that this board has become increasingly arrogant about how crappy other schools are compared to perfect NDSU.
Everyone just relax, all right? Believe me, if there's one thing Ron Burgundy knows, it's women.

Agreed apparently a top 20 team sucks now!! How awful to be that bad!!!
The only question I have is why don't these kids just walk on to these Big Ten teams in the first place and skip the recruiting? It seems like a complete waste of time when their dream is to play there. There is zero difference between a preferred walk on and a regular walk on when it comes to money so why not just do it two months ago. I get waiting for a full ride, but why committ to a different school and then walk on anyway?
