I think it's ridiculous and gimmicky. It hurts my eyes now and I can't imagine what the whole field will do. Although I've never liked any turf that's completely one color other than green. I love the look of NDSU's and think should be the standard on how a field should look. Color the end zones if that's what you want. Put a giant logo in the middle or wherever you want. Just leave the field green.

I'm going to agree with scottietohottie and say NDSU is the original. So original that Mother Nature made grass green to match the color NDSU's dark green. Heard she's a heck of a fan. Also, to be fair to the whiteflagship school, she used their weaker, lighter shade of green as the color for poison ivy.
