It's a small niche but many of the officials I know watch the FCS Championship game. But they also watch the D2, D3, and NAIA championships. We are weird like that.
early reports:
335,000 households (Late night games like this have so many at the bars/clubs & undercounted)
it beat the other 2 FS1 games that day & ESPN Late game
it's FS1 & 11pm.eastern.
FS1 K State was 585k. Iowa St 407k.... so it's a fine number
NDSU TO FBS. HAVEN'T WE WON ENOUGH?
Should have everything but the Arizona game updated...
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
NDSU/Arizona drew 335k on FS1: https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/s...rk-finals.html
Now if somebody could just find the 2011 title game.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
1.05M viewers on average for NDSU/UIW last Friday on ESPN2: https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/s...rk-finals.html
Really good number... not quite as good as the JMU semi last year but, let's be honest, JMU is a draw on TV and both of these last 2 Friday night semis have significantly outperformed the previous few years in terms of average viewers and that's saying something considering the subscribers ESPN has lost in that time.
Consequently, I was curious so I looked up SDSU's numbers for the 11AM Saturday quarterfinal since that's traditionally been NDSU's time slot and it was down from the 1.7-2M that NDSU traditionally drew in that slot at about 1.526M (https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/s...rk-finals.html. SDSU/Montana St only drew 598K last Saturday but that's not too surprising considering it was a snoozer and had to go up against NFL games and bowl games (https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/s...rk-finals.html).
