AS long as the G5 keeps getting paid with all of the bowl tie ins they dont care about a playoff. Every once in a while a G5 team gets spunky you hear the same squawking but it goes away after a while. There would have to be a huge G5 movement but I dont see it happening.

    The p5 already broke away.

If thats the case the amount of money generated doesnt support a move and the admin isnt going to make a bad move even if money was available.

If you do make a move under your premise the NDSU mantra and premise go right in the shitter.

Its the language they use. It was all over the Florida, UCF scheduling discussions that came out this week.

And it will go right in the shitter cuz no one is gonna support D2 ball which is what fcs will be if the g5 ever figures out how to get out from under the A5 and manage a real fcs like playoff.

Gene and Matt both understand this and that's why they said SU must be in at least the 2nd tier of the sport.

There is another much larger societal change occurring as well....football is dying and as players dry up smaller school will stop supporting it. This is rhe slow death that only a few see and are trying hard to prevent.

Wait, what the G5 makes money from a bowl system cuz on BV the lack of funds generated by the bowl system is ALWAYS used as one of the rationals not to jump.

So if SU jumped how much more would they make from being in the bowl system?

I did not say we are going d2 I said fcs will be relegated to d2 status if the g5 ever figure out a real playoff.
