Most watched FCS playoff game in the last 15 years (and maybe ever). As the article above shows it beat major college basketball games on CBS, FOX, and ESPN that started at the same time.

All in all I think that's a very impressive number that should hopefully keep the game on ABC next year and hopefully even longer.

Those seem to be pretty awesome numbers. I wonder if it wasn’t JMU as our appointment (possible Bison loss) if the ratings would be just as good? No I’m not trying to boost up JMU.

Stomped on the Celebration Bowl... getting tired of them claiming their bowl game is superior to the playoffs (which it isn't)

In my mind this tells me:

1. Folks want to watch football.
2. You have two marquee names in FCS football.
3. It was on ABC.

This is fantastic news, and bet it stays on ABC.

Interesting we got similar ratings to the Boise State/Washington bowl game, that was also on ABC. Cool!
