More than double from the Wofford game in last year's quarterfinal (of course that game was on ESPN2). It's the 2nd most watched football game NDSU has ever played in I believe trailing only the SDSU quarterfinal in 2016.

It was on the flagship, they get passive ratings on rerun programming that beat most things on 2 or 3.

Oh I know. There's a reason why this quarterfinal is usually gets more TV eyeballs than the championship game. It's the only TV spot for the FCS playoffs on the mothership.

Although it still bugs me that, year after year (at least when the Bison have been in it), the FCS championship on the deuce out-rates whatever average high major basketball game is that's on the mothership at the same time.
