It's not that big of deal with all the technology today but with the game on ABC the ice castles around devils lake are going to pickup up the football game. Hearing about a big watch party being planned for on Irving!

Tough draw considering they were going head-to-head with bowl games and NFL games.

Celebration Bowl took a half million viewer hit as well (1.8M down from about 2.3M the last two years).

Pretty pud. Should take a hit to the egos of "at least we're not in the farmer's only butt plug bowl" crowd because it drew a million + viewers

Actual championship that means something with a sold out attendance vs participation bowl with eleventy people in the stands but more casual TV viewers. Oh well, would be nice to have higher rating numbers, but I'll survive.

Someone post when the ABC numbers come in nationally for Saturday. I'm sure it will be the highest rated Bison football game of all time. (and another chance to make fun of The Hockies)

We were also talked about on Dan Patrick's show...they even called Vegas to get a line on NDSU vs Rutgers...for a relegation bowl. Vegas has NDSU -21 on a neutral field.
