How come we have to read the Lincoln Journal Star to find out Krista Menke is the nation's leading strikeout performer at 241, or haven't I been keeping up?

They posted it on the NDSU Facebook page. Pretty impressive stuff.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.

Even before this series with Nebraska, the Journal Star had her number (she's a Nebraska native). Maybe the Huskers missed a call here.

I did know that Menke is leading the nation in strikeouts - most likely saw that on the NDSU Softball twitter account.

The Forum reporters are way overworked (in case you missed Schremp's article) and probably are on vacation.

Not criticizing the Forum. They do better for NDSU Bison than any other newspaper covering a mid-size college out there. But I wonder, did GoBison ever carry a story?

Cornhuskers beat the Gophers a couple of days before they played the Bison. So yeah the Bison are coming.
